The clubhouse design reflects the rich character of the property and bordering lands. This multi-purpose facility is available for members and their guests to enjoy year-round. Its beautiful upscale design, warm decor, and idyllic setting also make it a popular choice for tournaments, weddings, and other events for groups ranging in size from 24 to 160 people.

Just over 18,000 square feet on two levels, the clubhouse is home to our dining, banquet, and meeting areas, as well as our well-appointed lounge and locker room facilities. Wireless Internet service throughout the building is just one of the many conveniences for members and guests.

Panoramic views of the surrounding ruins, river valley, oak grove, and golf course make the clubhouse an enjoyable retreat for members and their guests. Spectacular events are our specialty. The clubhouse is designed for optimum functionality, accentuated by gorgeous wood, stone, granite and sunlit appointments. Our meeting and banquet rooms are suitable for groups of up to 160. For the members of Southwood Golf & Country Club, every visit to the elegant clubhouse dining room is a unique experience. Each day, under the direction of the Executive Chef, the culinary team utilizes fresh, local ingredients to enhance breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus featuring classics, as well as daily special items unique to the Chef’s vast experience and creativity.

The experience of working up an appetite on the course is even more enjoyable when you can satisfy it in our gorgeous Tournament Room or outdoor patio area. You can indulge in delectable choices from a varied menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late evening. Special dining features held for members on and off season include prime rib, seafood, including the ever-popular lobster night and other chef specialties. Members in need of a friendly welcome or recharging of the spirit can also kick back for food and refreshments in the deluxe comfort of our lounge, featuring a full bar and flat screen entertainment.
